After I graduated the Master Fashion Designer Programme at Istituto Marangoni in London, and had been working as an intern under Hussein Chalayan at Puma and Alexander McQueen at McQ I decided to move back home to Aland Islands to slow down and focus on creating sustainable fashion.
In august 2010 I started Labelled Fashion Recycling studio with the simple idea to redesign old garments and materials into high quality fashion for women. With my combined studio and shop I want to inspire people and awe them with creativity. Old seat belts become handbags, a couple of dussin ties become a dress and an old leather jacket become mobile phone cases.
Labelled is about celebrating sustainability and time, and to breath life into the old.
